Cioppino is a seafood stew originating in San Francisco, California. It is an Italian-American dish and is related to various regional fish soups and stews of Italian cuisine. Our homemade Cioppino recipe is an everyday, lighter alternative to the heavy traditional meal.
Add 1 tbsp of olive oil in wok pan or saucepan, sauté 2 large garlic chopped cloves, 1 small chopped onion, 1 orange bell pepper and salt. Sauté until onions are translucent and add the following products:
- 1- ASC Certified Shrimp Gourmet Meal - Etouffee (Add disk while frozen)
- 2- 5oz MSC Certified Spiny Lobster Tails cut in half and thawed (4 pieces)
- 10- New Zealand Green Shell Mussels frozen (1/4 of mussels in bag)
- 1- Cooked Octopus Tentacles 8-9oz (Tentacles used were much smaller than our preferred cooked tentacles 8-9oz) Slice the tentacles because they are much bigger than the ones shown.
- 1 Wild Caught Grouper Fillet (cut in 4 pieces)
- 1/3- 12oz Kielbasa sausage sliced
- 1- 8oz Tomato sauce
Gently, stir and cook for 10 minutes.
Makes a delicious combination with white rice or baguette.
Serves 4.
